About me
I am Dr. Giulia Chiarini, a psychologist registered with the Order of Psychologists of Tuscany No. 09785. I work as a private practitioner, in-person and online, providing psychological support and counseling to young adults and adults. As a psychologist, I offer professional and targeted services combining high-level academic skills with a fresh and passionate perspective on psychology.
I completed my studies at the University of Padua, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science with honors in 2018 (English program). In 2020 I obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, also with honors. Motivated to continue my growth journey, I chose to specialize as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist at the Cognitive School of Florence, where I am currently enrolled.

Psychological Support
There are moments in life when one may find themselves facing emotionally stressful and/or particularly complex situations: unexpected events, sudden changes, losses, life stages, or relational (e.g., separations) and work-related difficulties (layoffs, retirement, etc.). Seeking help is not only an act of courage but above all an act of self-care.
As a psychologist, I am committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment in which to explore experiences, thoughts, emotions, and collectively address the difficulties that may arise from them. I listen without judgment, providing empathetic support and professional skills to help you achieve lasting psychological well-being. Every person is unique, and my personalized approach adapts to different needs, facilitating a journey of growth and positive change. We will work together towards goals that are, each time, agreed upon and shared.
What are the benefits of psychological support?
Psychological support is a collaborative journey where individuals can address difficulties, develop greater self-awareness, and acquire practical tools to manage daily challenges. Our goal is to promote psychological and emotional well-being.
The Cognitive Behavioral Approach
The cognitive-behavioral approach emphasizes the link between our thoughts, the emotions we feel, and the actions we take. The way we perceive the world and interpret events directly influences our emotional responses and behaviors. From this perspective, understanding and examining our thought patterns is crucial to achieving psychological well-being, both emotionally and behaviorally.
My choice to specialize in this approach stems not only from its proven scientific effectiveness but from its ability to place the individual at the center of the therapeutic process. In this approach, individuals themselves lead the exploration of their experiences, thoughts, and emotions, serving as the primary experts on themselves. It is this aspect, perhaps, that makes this approach remarkably effective.
